Right now while our oldest daughter has recovered from Covid-19, our youngest has started showing symptoms of a cold. She had a slight fever of 99.6 and coughing and some congestion. I took her to get tested earlier this morning and got tested as I am now coughing as well. I want to believe this is just an ordinary cold but unfortunately no doctors will see us without a negative covid test.
Needless to say I’m basically waiting until we can see a doctor again and go back to our normal lives. I do not want to go back to isolating one of the kids. Bringing someone food and leaving it outside of their door feels so inhumane and cold. It was hard enough to do it with our oldest daughter and the thought of doing it with our youngest is horrible.
